For Mozart, the flute is enchanting. His famous opera springs to mind, whose irresistible overture immediately conjures up its magic. Yet Mozart only wrote two flute concertos, the second being an arrangement of the magnificent Concerto for oboe. Winner of several international competitions, the flautist Yubeen Kim will interpret this ethereal work. The young conductor, Victor Jacob, assistant conductor at the Orchestre National de Lille during the 2021-2022 season, will guide us along the paths of Bohemia where Dvořák sought solace far from the turmoil of city life in 1889.

The Czech composer took only a few months to complete his sunlit and melodious Symphony No.8, which is an expression of sheer joy!
