The Great Mass in C minor marks a pinnacle in Mozart’s creativity. The breadth and intensity of the work irresistibly recall the ultimate Requiem, likewise destined to remain incomplete. In the first half, we will listen to the Symphony No.32, in which Mozart condensed the chivalrous impressions of his sojourn in Paris into eight minutes of music! Jan Willem de Vriend will conduct the tremendous score of the Great Mass with passion, having brought together outstanding soloists with the Philharmonia Chorus.
