Marie Oppert, you may recall, recorded her first album, Enchantée !, for Warner Classics with the Orchestre National de Lille conducted by Nicholas Skilbeck. After a highly acclaimed debut aged 17 in the principal role of Parapluies de Cherbourg at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris alongside Natalie Dessay and Michel Legrand, she pursued her studies in Paris and New York. With her background in operettas and true Broadway-style musicals, she will perform with enchanting spontaneity the most beautiful songs of the musical genre for this concert. Marie Oppert is regularly invited to sing in the most prestigious concert venues in Paris, London, and New York, becoming a resident artist at the Comédie-Française in 2022.
