The composer recounts a memory from his teenage years: one sleepless night as he was trying in vain to put something to paper, he came across a magic room in his flat. It was an immense library run by a group of youngsters who called themselves the “Guardians of the Temple”. They told him that libraries, and the knowledge they hold, had been declining for several years. Rather than destroying the books and losing everything, some libraries had preferred to go underground, by “falling asleep”. Our hero stays in the sleeping library for some time, which changes his life, and possibly yours!
