Eric Truffaz needs no introduction. Since the early 90s, he has accumulated prolific musical experiences ‒ rap, drum’n bass, traditional Indian and electro-acoustic music, and more. In the footsteps of his model, the mythical Miles Davis, his appetite for different musical genres is boundless. The numerous scores he has written for film and tv have led him to work alongside a varied selection of artists, including Christophe, the singer, Jacques Weber, the actor, Pierre Henry, the composer, and Enki Bilal, the cartoonist. Invited by the ONL to perform one of his own compositions as a soloist in 2006, the trumpeter will once more demonstrate his thirst for new discoveries alongside a rising star in the world of music, the flamboyant pianist and composer, Estreilla Besson.
